X Annual Conference from the series of Leontief Readings "Economic Thought: Variety of Concepts and Applications" 

On February 18-19, 2011 in St. Petersburg X Annual Conference from the series of Leontief Readings "Economic Thought: Variety of Concepts and Applications" took place.

The Programme of X Annual Conference "Economic Thought: Variety of Concepts and Applications" involved three sessions: Economic Analysis and Economic Theory, Institutions: Theory and Practice, The Austrian School of Economics: an Alternative Vision of the World. 

On February 19, 2011 in the Main Dining Room of the Mikhailovsky Castle V Award Ceremony of International Leontief Medal laureates 2010 for Contribution to Economic Reforms took place.

Leontief Medal laureates 2010: 

  • Ljubo Sirc, Director and Founder of the Centre for Research into Communist Economies (CRCE) in London 
  • Charles Wyplosz, Professor of International Economics at the Graduate Institute, Geneva
  • Ekaterina Zhuravskaya, Professor of Economics, of Paris Economic School of Economics (PSE) and New Economic School (NES)
  • Tatyana Maleva, Director of Independent Institute for Social Policy
