Leonid Limonov Anders Åslun

On 6 of October 2007 in St.Petersburg (St.Petersburg, A.S. Popov Central Museum of Communications) the second Ceremony of Rewarding Laureates 2007 with the International Leontief Medal “For Contribution to Economic Reforms” was held. The ceremony took place in the framework of the VII Annual Leontief Conference Economic Theory and History / Leontief Readings.

The ceremony of Rewarding was opened by Irina Karelina, ICSER "Leontief Centre" Director-General, with the presentation about history of creation of the International Leontief medal for “Contribution to Economic Reforms” and ceremonies of rewarding.

 

 

Laureates of Leontief medal of the last years have made the welcoming speeches:

  • Boris Firsov, European University in St.Petersburg, Honorary Rector, Laureate of the International Leontief Medal «For Contribution to Economic Reforms» (2006)
  • Masaaki Kuboniwa, Institute of Economic Research Hitotsubashi University, Professor, Japan, Laureate of the Leontief Medal “For Achievements in Economy” (2004)
  • Boris Mironov, St.Petersburg State University, Professor, Laureate of the Leontief Medal “For Achievements in Economy” (2005)
  • Andrei Illarionov, Foundation “Institute of Economic Analysis”, President, Laureate of the Leontief Medal “For Achievements in Economy” (2003)

Rewarding Laureates 2007 with the International Leontief Medal “For Contribution to Economic Reforms” and  reports of the medal laureates took place after completion the speech.
